Work today reminded me a lot of harvesting in the Fall. The day started early, the air and water were both chilly,... but instead of brown leaves falling from the trees there were flowers blooming and small green leave buds popping. By 1 pm the sun was bright and hot, and harvesting of tosai pond #10 began. Here are a few pics from today's harvest. Around 200 tosai, or 10 to 11 month old Koi were pulled up today - another incredible group of Kohakus, Showas, Sankes, Shiro Utsuris, and a few unique Koi from experimental spawnings I managed to fit in last Summer.
