Here it is the 1st week in September.  This morning the temperature was noticeably cooler,... and though I’m sad summer will soon be coming to an end,... it’s also a very exciting time, with harvests coming up soon.

Though I’ve had glimpses throughout the summer of the fry produced this past spring, it’s not until Fall that they start showing what’s really there.  Also, the nisai and older Koi have not been seen at all since spring,... so the first glimpse during harvest is an incredible rush,... and validates all of the hard work and sweating of details throughout the summer.

Within the next 2 weeks I’ll begin posting lots of photos and video here of this years’ Koi production.
