Ive had no rain on my farm in over two and a half months, and the temps have been 96 F. to 103 F. This is causing a heavy strain on my well system, so Ive had to shut down 2 mud ponds a month early this year to conserve water. Thats farming,... I do what I have to do to make a season out of what Mother Nature throws at me. At this point in the Summer it seems my only hope for any significant rain will have to come from the African coast,... in the form of a Tropical Storm. Normally Tropical Storms and Hurricanes from the Atlantic are feared this time of year, but the rain will be welcome this time. Overall my crop is excellent this season! The Kohakus, Showas, and Yamabuki Ogons all look exceptional!
