I recently got a first look at my 2011 Kohaku crop.  The Kohaku spawns this year were HUGE, and the group of fry look incredible overall,... super high quality characteristics, and good numbers.  It’s been an unusually hot Summer here in North Carolina, and the labor involved in culling is hard, so I was moving fast and didn’t get an opportunity to snap many photos.  Here is one that I did manage to get, and is a good example of the body and color development at this age of 50 days, and 4 inches.

My Kohaku lineages for the past 4 years are extensions of the popular modern Sensuke crosses of South Japan,... large thick bodies, and thick artistic hi plates.
